We don't really know what a great bistro red means, but we're pretty sure this fits the bill. This Merlot, Grenache, and Syrah blend is easy going but interesting, a wine that will pair with many different types of food or that you can drink and enjoy on its own.

Beautiful Pinot Noir from the northern part of Burgundy (actually closer to Chablis). This is our current best value from the region, with a wine that balances both fruit and minerality.
This property is located in the commune of Chitry, located so far north as to be as close to Chablis as any other part of Burgundy. This wine is sharp and tangy, and wine that hits you like a splash of water, invigorating the senses. After a moment to transition to its world, you can delve into the surprising depths of this wine.
The wines from Jouclary are our type of values: honest, varietally correct expressions at good prices. The Sauvignon Blanc is a case in point; bright, with crisp citrus fruits, clean, and refreshing. That'll do, Jouclary, that'll do.

Looking for Sancerre quality Sauvignon Blanc but not really enjoying Sancerre's prices? Check out this wonderful bottle. It's grassy and crisp, clean and lively. It might not be as complex, or as minerally, as hoped from Sancerre, but it's also less then half the price.
